Happy Galentine's Day

by Elyssa Conley

Galentine's Day, a day where women celebrate their female friends, has been an unofficial holiday since 2010, when it debuted on the hit show Parks and Recreation. Women across the country loved the idea of women celebrating their friendships. As a Woman-Owned and managed business, we at Skineez® love celebrating women!

We love Galentine's Day because,

  1. It celebrates women supporting women
  2. It boosts the strong bond on female friendships
  3. It promotes female empowerment

How do you celebrate Galentine's Day?

Spend time with your girlfriends. Brunch is the most popular way to do this, because that’s how it was celebrated in the most famous Parks and Recreation episode. "Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast style."

Brunch time is an excellent time to take time to be with your friends since Galentine's Day falls on Super Bowl Sunday.

Not watching the Super Bowl? Have a Wine and Chocolate party!

Get together for a day of pampering. Get a facial, mani-pedi, or take a trip to the spa.

Can't be with your BFFs? Send them a card and a gift. Get your girlfriends a Skineez® Beauty Bundle!
